old band Eagles lost one of its members on Monday (18/01/2016). One guitarist Glenn Frey, died at age 67 due to complications.
“With a heavy heart that we announce the death of one of our friends, the founder of Eagles, Glenn Frey, in New York City on Monday, January 18, 2016. Glenn has fought bravely for the past few weeks, but unfortunately, he had to surrender to complications of Rheumatoid Arthritis , Acute Ulcerative Colitis, and pneumonia, “the band said in an announcement that Aceshowbiz, Tuesday (01/19/2016).
“The family Frey to thank all those who support Glenn in this struggle and hope and pray for his recovery. No words can describe our sorrow, love and our respect for all he has given to us, his family, the music community and the millions of fans scattered throughout the world. ”
In November last year, the Eagles could delay the Kennedy Center Honors ceremony scheduled to take place in December. Party band says Frey intestinal problems recur and require major surgery and a long recovery time.
Frey survived by his wife, Cindy, whom he married 25 years ago, and three children, namely Taylor, Deacon, and Otis.
